Grove street water reclamation pump station, Park setting; 12 stone stelas (12’x3’x3′) with sand blasted designs depicting four elements/four sacred directions and sun symbols. 125 tons of red sand stone from upstate New Mexico quarry, 20′ diameter children’s discovery sand box with cultural images flooring constructed with G.F.R.C., stone sitting arrangements (3’x3’x6′) and walk ways, landscaping and railing design. Design work reviewed and approved by 40 member communnity focus group workshops. Commission by the City of San Diego Commission for Art and Cultural and City of San Diego Metropolitan Waste Water Department.
